Imperial Road Haulage Limited (IRHL) was established in 2012 and is registered in Tanzania under company number 90884. Headquartered in Tanzania, IRHL is a locally rooted trucking and logistics company with a vision to become a comprehensive logistics management provider for the East African sub-region.
Our core services include logistics, storage, and haulage — all delivered with a focus on reliability, efficiency, and cross-border capability. In addition to our operations in Tanzania, IRHL is also established in Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), offering customs clearing and transportation services to various destinations across the region.
With deep regional knowledge and a customer-first approach, we are committed to supporting businesses through seamless, end-to-end logistics solutions.

Our Strategy
We aim to develop excellent customer service by making timely deliveries, hiring the best of drivers, together with applying competitive pricing structure. It is the plan of IRHL to acquire the best equipment for the job at hand. Since our inception, we have focused mainly on transporting bulk delivery of imported merchandise and products to the landlocked countries of the East Africa Sub region. The company, currently with a fleet of 85 trucks, is providing transport services to Zambia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Burundi and Malawi. We are planning to go through an expansion of introducing more trucks and trailers due to an increase in demand in the Transport sector.
